The vaccine is free for all Singaporeans and long-term residents in Singapore, which includes Singapore Permanent Residents, and Employment Pass holders.
Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, and Long-Term Pass Holders aged 6 months and above are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccines under the National Vaccination Programme.
Persons Aged 60 Years and above, Medically Vulnerable, Residents of Aged Care Facilities
After completing at least two initial doses, medically vulnerable person, residents of aged care facilities and individuals aged 60 years and above are recommended to receive an additional dose of the updated vaccine around one year from their last dose. They can start to to receive it from five months after their last dose.
Individuals who wish to receive their vaccination may book an appointment at a participating General Practitioner (GP) clinic using this link, or at selected polyclinics through the HealthHub booking system. Alternatively, individuals may walk into any Joint Testing and Vaccination Centre (JTVC) without an appointment.

Persons Aged Between 6 months to 59 Years
Persons aged 6 months to 59 years who are healthy have a lower risk of severe disease. Nevertheless, eligible persons in this age group, in particular, healthcare workers, as well as household members and caregivers of medically vulnerable individuals, are encouraged to receive an additional dose around one year (and no earlier than five months) after their last dose to enhance protection. The nearest vaccination site and the type of vaccine offered at each site are listed at https://gowhere.gov.sg/vaccine. They may book an appointment at a participating GP clinic using this link, or at selected polyclinics through the HealthHub booking system. Alternatively, individuals may walk into any JTVC without an appointment.
Persons aged 6 months and above may walk in to any Joint Testing and Vaccination Centres (JTVCs) offering the vaccines recommended for the different age groups. On days where there is high demand for vaccination, a longer waiting period should be expected.
Alternatively, you may book an appointment at a JTVC or participating General Practitioner (GP) clinic to receive your vaccination using this link, or at selected polyclinics through the HealthHub booking system.
Those aged 12 years and below must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Parents/guardians should also bring along their child/ward’s identification document (e.g. Birth Certificate and Health booklet/Passport/Student Identification Card/Singpass) for verification. Children/wards below 18 years must have the consent of their parents/guardians to receive their vaccination. Those between the age of 13 and 17 years must bring a duly completed and signed hard or electronic copy of the parental consent form, which can be downloaded here.
Holders of Training Employment Pass, Training Work Permit, Work Holiday Pass, Special Pass and Short Term Visit Pass with a pass validity period of at least 60 days may walk in to any of the JTVCs to receive their vaccination. The pass holder should bring along identifying documents such as your passport or approval of extension of stay in Singapore for verification purposes.

Sinovac-CoronaVac will cease to be offered under the National Vaccination Programme (NVP)* after 30 September 2024, as no application was made to HSA for the vaccine to be fully registered.
As production has stopped, the supply of the Sinovac-CoronaVac COVID-19 vaccine is currently not commericially available in Singapore, private clinics are also unable to provde it under the Special Access Route.
We strongly recommend that you receive the mRNA vaccines for your COVID-19 vaccinations in view of the lower efficacy of the Sinovac-CoronaVac vaccine.
Should you choose to receive the Sinovac-CoronaVac vaccine instead, you may do so at selected participating General Practitioner (GP) clinics offering the vaccine by 30 September 2024. *Under the NVP, vaccination is free for all Singaporean Citizens, Permanent Residents, Long Term Pass holders and certain Short Term Pass holders.
You may book an appointment at any participating General Practitioner (GP) clinics that offer the Novavax/Nuvaxovid COVID-19 vaccine using this link.
Please note that the Novavax/Nuvaxovid vaccine is only approved for use in persons aged 12 years and above.

The COVID-19 vaccination is free for all Singaporeans and long-term residents in Singapore and no one should ask you for a payment. The link that is provided in the SMS should go to "vaccine.gov.sg". Only government officials can register for a gov.sg domain. Do not trust any other URLs that are not from a .gov.sg domain.
When in doubt, you should check with the agency who sent you the message to confirm the authenticity before responding to the message.

You do not need accompany your child/ward if he/she is aged 13 years and above. However, if he/she is 12 years old or a student in a Special Education (SPED) school you will need to accompany him/her, as per the arrangements for the previous COVID-19 vaccinations.
Parents/guardians who accompany their child/wards aged 12 years and under for vaccination will not be able to receive their vaccination together with their child/ward as the dosage for adults and children are different.
Vaccination Day
• Bring your ID (NRIC/FIN/Student Pass/Birth Certificate and Health Booklet)

• Please wear short sleeved attire, or sleeves loose enough to be rolled up
• If you are unwell or had fever in the past 24 hours, please do not proceed for your vaccination. You may receive your vaccination after you have recovered.
You should only take the vaccination when you are well.
For appointments made at Joint Testing and Vaccination Centres (JTVCs) and participating General Practitioner (GP) clinics through the Health Appointment System (HAS), you may use the link embedded in your appointment confirmation SMS to reschedule your appointment.
For appointments made with the GP clinics directly, please call the clinic to reschedule your appointment.
For children aged 6 months to 4 years, the vaccine will be injected into the muscle of the thigh. To make this easier, children are advised to be dressed in loose-fitting clothes which can be rolled up
or removed easily
For persons aged 5 years and older, the vaccine will be injected into your upper arm. To make this easier, you are advised to wear short sleeves, or sleeves loose enough to be rolled up.
Parents/guardians are reminded to ensure that their child/ward brings along documentary proof of their consent to the vaccination site for verification. The letter of consent required can be found here. A completed electronic copy of the consent form will be accepted as well.

The vaccine has been assessed to be safe for use. However, you may experience common side effects, similar to other vaccines. Most side effects are mild or moderate, and usually get better within a few days. The table below lists some common side effects that have been reported with this vaccine, and how to manage them.

See a doctor if:
- The side effects persist or get worse.
- The fever persists for more than 48 hours (2 days).
- Respiratory symptoms such as cough, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath or loss of sense of taste and smell develops.
- Heart or chest symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath or abnormal heart beats develops.
In very rare cases, this vaccine can cause a severe allergic reaction. Signs of a severe allergic reaction include: difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, throat, eyes or lips, a fast heartbeat, dizziness and weakness, a bad rash all over your body. If you experience a severe allergic reaction, seek medical attention immediately. Call 995 or go to the nearest A&E immediately.

The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) has permitted COVID-19 vaccines for Muslim use. Please refer to MUIS’ religious position on the COVID-19 vaccine for more information.
Recovered persons who were unvaccinated, or partially vaccinated before their infection can proceed to complete their two initial vaccine doses. You are recommended to receive remaining vaccine doses from 3 months or more after the date of infection to reduce your risk of reinfection.
Recovered persons who are recommended to receive an additional COVID-19 vaccine dose after your last vaccine dose should do so at the recommended interval thereafter, and at least 28 days after the infection although an interval of three months from the infection is recommended for better effectiveness.
Those who received the dosage for persons aged 5 to 11 years for their first dose can continue to receive the same dosage for their second dose, even if they have turned 12 years between the first and second vaccine doses. Alternatively, the child can also receive a dosage corresponding to his/her age when the vaccine dose is received.
Children who turn 5 years on the day of their first dose will receive the Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty vaccine for children aged between 5 to 11 years or the Moderna/Spikevax vaccine for children aged between 6 months to 5 years.
Those who received the Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty vaccine when they were below 5 years will continue to receive the same vaccine and dosage for their subsequent doses, even if they have turned 5 years between any of the vaccine doses.
