Suitability Criteria For Home Recovery
Suitability Criteria For Home Recovery
A. Suitability Criteria
Guidance on suitability criteria for Home Recovery is tabulated in Table 1. This guidance is non-exhaustive, and is also not a substitute for professional clinical assessment by an MOH-appointed Medical Provider (e.g. Public Healthcare Institution or Telemedicine provider), if performed.
Table 1: Suitability Criteria
B. Home and Household Suitability Criteria
The home and household suitability criteria are set out in Table 2. Both criteria must be fulfilled for a person to be deemed suitable for Home Recovery.
Table 2: Home and Household Suitability Criteria
SN | Criteria |
---|---|
1 | Able to serve isolation in a room (i.e. will not pose significant infection risk to rest of the household) |
2 | Not living with vulnerable household members (e.g. household member(s) aged 80 years old or older who are not fully vaccinated) |
C. Clinical Suitability Assessment by MOH-appointed Medical Provider
To avoid doubt, the outcome of a clinical suitability assessment performed by an MOH appointed Medical Provider (e.g. Public Healthcare Institution or appointed Telemedicine provider) on the suitability of a patient for Home Recovery supersedes the Suitability Criteria detailed in Table 1 above.
